Vioflow Low UVT Disinfection System
The Vioflow Low UVT Disinfection System has been developed for water with low UV transmission properties (20% – 70% UVT), making it perfect for municipal and industrial applications for secondary and reuse water, or for greywater applications such as rainwater harvesting.
The Vioflow Low UVT Disinfection System utilises LUVTSWIRL™ technology to direct the flow of liquid and increase the UV-C exposure time for any microorganisms and bacteria. This controlled flow prevents any ‘dark areas’ from occurring and ensures no water with untreated pathogens exits the UV disinfection chamber, while still minimising energy consumption throughout the process.
The Low UVT series is an energy-efficient solution to treating wastewater and fluids with low UV transmission. This includes discoloured water and water with high turbidity which is regularly passed through the wastewater treatment process. The Low UVT disinfection systems are ideal in these environments due to their high efficiency and tool-free maintenance for replacing lamps and quartz sleeves.
