Eco Series
The ECO series is designed for the economic and chemical-free disinfection for safe water consumption in the home where source water is supplied directly from a bore hole, well or spring, or you’re harvesting water or simply living off-grid. It is designed specifically with the environment, performance and longevity in mind.
British manufacturer, Daro UV Systems has been designing and manufacturing ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems for over 40 years. Across the board, our market leading products have Water Regulation Advisory Service (WRAS) approval.
UV can inactivate more than 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, mould spores, algae and yeast.Bacteria and viruses have known, but limited repair mechanisms, that are easily overwhelmed. Exposure to UV light prevents cell replication and inactivates bacteria and viruses making them incapable of spreading infection.
Bacteria and viruses, crucially, can develop resistance to antibiotics and chemicals but have not been shown to develop any resistance to UV.
ECO Series Products
All parts and components are designed and manufactured at our plant in the United Kingdom. Products in the ECO series are made from stainless steel and carry a five-year warranty, although they are designed for high performance for upwards of 15-years.* All parts can be recycled giving the range the added benefit of a low carbon footprint.
The Eco range is easy to install and designed to be energy efficient; in a standard domestic setting the daily running cost is as little as around 12 pence per day.**
With a low-running cost, low cost of spares & consumables and small carbon footprint, the ECO series is an economical, chemical-free, safe to use and environmentally friendly system.
