ECO Series
The WRAS-approved ECO series is an ideal introductory model designed for economic and chemical-free UV disinfection for safe water consumption. This is one of Daro UV’s flagship ranges for use in the home where source water is supplied directly from a borehole well or spring, where rainwater is harvested or simply living off-grid using a private water source (PWS).
It is designed specifically with performance, economic operating costs, easy maintenance, the environment and longevity in mind.
British manufacturer, Daro UV Systems has been designing and manufacturing ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems for over 40 years. Across the board, our widely recognised, market-leading potable water products have Water Regulation Advisory Service (WRAS) approval.

UV can inactivate more than 99.99% of bacteria, viruses, mould spores, algae and yeast.
Bacteria and viruses have known, but limited repair mechanisms, that are easily overwhelmed. Exposure to UV light prevents cell replication and inactivates bacteria and viruses making them incapable of spreading infection.
Bacteria and viruses, crucially, can develop resistance to antibiotics and chemicals but have not been shown to develop any resistance to UV.

ECO Series Products
All Daro UV chambers are designed and manufactured at our plant in the United Kingdom. The ECO Series range is manufactured to the highest levels of precision for excellent performance, are made from 304 stainless steel and carry a 10-year guarantee as standard. All parts can be recycled, giving the range the benefit of a low carbon footprint.
The ECO Series’ products are easy to install and integrate into existing water pipes with minimal effort. The range is engineered to be energy efficient in a standard domestic setting.
The ECO units can be fitted anywhere in a water system, provided the maximum pressure and peak flow requirements are less than the maximum ratings. The slower the water flow, the more effective the unit will be.
Lamps last for one year and are easily replaced. High-efficiency lamps are specified in each product to ensure the appropriate UV dose is delivered for effective and reliable disinfection in each circumstance.
